Conor runs new initiatives at Wayground, a learning company that has spent a decade getting fifty million people a month to practice things they'd rather not practice. He saw where else that could go. Life sciences reps walk into conversations with physicians where the wrong answer costs a launch, and they mostly prepare by reading a deck. Wayground already had the engine for something better. Conor built the company around it and became a co-founder of Skillet: AI roleplay, manager coaching, and call prep for life sciences commercial teams, on the premise that realism is what makes practice worth doing. He had a go-to-market date. What he didn't have was a brand. He'd already spent weeks with an offshore design team that delivered hundreds of options and not one argument for any of them. A Figma board the size of a parking lot. Choose your favorite. That's not a design process, it's a shrug with a deliverable attached, and it is how a distressing amount of design still gets made. Conor was weeks behind with nothing he could hand to a developer.
