Eertmoed Studio is the brand design practice of Kyle Eertmoed, a creative director and designer who's been both the agency and the client. Before opening the studio, Kyle co-founded and ran Knoed, a Chicago brand agency, for over a decade. After that, he joined a former client as in-house Director of Brand Design, where he led the brand work that contributed to a successful acquisition. That experience on both sides means he can sit on your side of the table and make sure your project lands right the first time.
Two kinds of clients find their way here. Founders who are building something new or transforming something that's stopped working. And design studios with too much on their plate, who need a trusted partner, not a vendor. Either way, every project is led by Kyle directly, start to finish, one at a time.

Good brand design doesn't start with a logo. It starts with understanding what's true about your business and building from there. Most designers show options and wait to be told what to do. Not here. More decisions get made upfront, which means less back-and-forth, fewer revisions, and a process that moves in weeks, not months.

A proposal to determine if we're a good fit. If yes, next comes an agreement and statement of work. 100% clarity.
Discover
We kick off with a discovery session. Kyle leads structured dialogue and actually listens to understand where you are, where you're headed, and what's standing in the way.
Define
Everything gets synthesized. Research, insights, and creative strategy. This sets the foundation before anything visual begins—your north star.
Design
Intensive creative exploration, resulting in a presentation of two distinct directions with example applications so you can envision your brand in the real world.
Develop
Brand assets built and released in phases. Close oversight through web development and print production.
Deliver
Final files, design system, guidelines, collateral. Everything packaged and ready. Nothing left undone.
