Eertmoed Studio is the design practice of Kyle Eertmoed. After two decades as studio founder and in-house director, the work is guided by a single conviction: most brands don't need more. They need less, done with more care. Subtract what doesn't matter to reveal what does. Kyle works directly with every client, bringing in trusted collaborators when the work calls for it. About the Studio

Eertmoed Studio is the design practice of Kyle Eertmoed. Specializing in creative direction, visual identity, print and digital design, he helps entrepreneurs and design studios craft high-touch brands that are minimal, yet soulful.


Before establishing Eertmoed Studio, Kyle was a Partner at Knoed (2011–2021), a Chicago-based brand design agency, where he helped small businesses and startups invent or re-invent themselves. After that, he served as the Director of Brand Design at a startup (2021–2024), leading brand initiatives that contributed to the company's successful acquisition.

The portfolio spans a diverse range of industries, including architecture and design, hospitality and retail, and products and services. The work has been recognized by publications such as Communication Arts, Dwell, GD USA, Awwwards, and The Dieline. Kyle has also shared his expertise through speaking engagements at the Brand New Conference, CreativeMornings, AIGA, SAIC, and the Apple Store.
