Reductive Calendar wins a spot in Communication Arts Design Annual 67

Eertmoed Studio's Reductive Calendar has been selected for Communication Arts Design Annual 67. Out of 2,258 entries, 114 projects made it in. The calendar is a self-published piece from Eertmoed Studio, and it now sits in print alongside work from design firms, agencies, publishers, and in-house creative departments around the world. Eertmoed Studio's design philosophy is reductive: reveal what matters by removing what doesn't. This calendar embodies that idea. Strip a calendar to its bare minimum and what remains is time itself, clearly arranged as simply as possible. Seven columns, one per weekday. Dates abbreviated to a letter and number. No headers, no grid, no holidays.

Nine jurors screened the field across two rounds of blind in-or-out voting, and a finalist needed at least six of nine votes to make the annual. Thanks to all of the jurors for the effort.
